Illness Policy
Stephanie’s Family Child Care charges accrue at your regular rate if your child is ill or you choose to not bring your child for any reason. Please do not bring a child to day care with a contagious illness, severe diarrhea, or fever.  This childcare home does not provide care to a child who is, in the provider’s sole discretion, ill or contagious. In the event your child shows signs of illness while in my care, you will be called and may be asked to pick up your child immediately.  Tylenol or Motrin will be administered with parental notification and permission only.  See Medication Release Form. Children with fevers or other contagious illnesses must be kept home for at least 24 hours after the start of medication.  Provider reserves the right to request a medical release from your physician for any medical condition.  Parents must notify the Provider if any allergies (food, medicine, etc.) and/or other special problems concerning the child.
